Tower Of Fantasy X Evangelion Crossover Gets A Release Date

Publisher Level Infinite and developer Hotta Studio have unveiled the launch date of the special collaboration of the open-world RPG Tower of Fantasy with the iconic anime Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Through this unique collaboration, players will have the chance to immerse themselves in colossal battles against the formidable Angels, experience epic-scale conflicts, and commemorate the legacy of both franchises.

Just last month, the first announcement was made on the official PlayStation blog. The post revealed that the classic characters Shinji Ikari, Asuka Shikinami Langley, and Rei Ayanami will be introduced as playable simulacrums within the game. Additionally, players will meet classic EVA units, such as EVA-00, EVA-01, and EVA-02, as they explore the main story. The developers are committed to faithfully reproducing classic scenes from the original anime series within the game’s narrative, ensuring that fans of the series can relive their favourite moments.

Tower Of Fantasy is a shared open-world RPG from developer Hotta Studio and publisher Level Infinite with a vibrant, anime-inspired art style and exhilarating sci-fi setting. Set hundreds of years in the future on the distant planet of Aida. The game was officially released worldwide on 11 August 2022 for both mobile and PC platforms, followed by PS4 and PS5 on 8 August 2023.

Tower of Fantasy x Evangelion is scheduled to launch on 12 March 2024.
