Until Dawn Remastered Version Is Coming To PS5 & PC In 2024
During the PlayStation State Of Play January 2024 live stream, Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced that a remastered version of Until Dawn will launch for the PS5 and PC sometime in 2024.
This was previously rumoured several weeks ago.
The timing is certainly auspicious, considering that a movie version of Until Dawn was only just announced last week will be helmed by director David F. Sandberg, best known for directing both Shazam! movies (2019’s Shazam! and 2023’s Shazam! Fury Of The Gods) and several horror movies including 2016’s Lights Out and 2017’s Annabelle Creation.
Until Dawn was originally released in 2015 for the PS4 and it’s an interactive horror video game by developer Supermassive Games that follows eight friends and frenemies who are brought together on a remote mountain retreat. With live-or-die scenarios featuring a mysterious killer, cannibalistic wendigos, a cable car, and a long-ago mining cave-in that reverberates into the present day, the members of the group must fight through their fear if they all hope to make it through the night in one piece.
