By Alleef Ashaari|March 24, 2024|0 Comment
It’s officially confirmed that a fourth season of the Blue Exorcist / Ao No Exorcist anime is already in the works, and fans won’t have to wait 6 or 7 years this time around. Blue Exorcist Season 4 will be titled “Yuki no Hate-hen” or “Beyond the Snow Saga”.
In fact, it won’t even be a year’s wait, as Blue Exorcist Season 4 will premiere sometime in October 2024.
Blue Exorcist Season 3, titled Blue Exorcist Shimane Illuminati Saga, recently concluded its 12-episode run on 23 March 2024 after premiering in January 2024. Fans had to wait a whopping seven years for tha, since the anime’s previous second season, Blue Exorcist Kyoto Saga, premiered in 2017. The first season premiered way back in 2011, as well as a Blue Exorcist movie in 2012.
The anime is based on the Shueisha-published manga by Kazue Katou, which Viz Media describes as:
Raised by Father Fujimoto, a famous exorcist, Rin Okumura never knew his real father. One day a fateful argument with Father Fujimoto forces Rin to face a terrible truth—the blood of the demon lord Satan runs in Rin’s veins! Rin swears to defeat Satan, but doing that means entering the mysterious True Cross Academy and becoming an exorcist himself. Can Rin fight demons and keep his infernal bloodline a secret? It won’t be easy, especially when drawing his father’s sword releases the demonic power within him!
If you wanted to catch up with Blue Exorcist’s first two seasons, you can now stream them on Netflix Malaysia. You can watch Blue Exorcist Season 3 or Blue Exorcist Shimane Illuminati Saga on CrunchyRoll.
