Princess Peach: Showtime Demo Is Out Now

Nintendo has revealed that the much-anticipated action-adventure game featuring Nintendo’s beloved princess, Princess Peach, is now available as a playable demo exclusively on Switch through the Nintendo eShop.

In the Princess Peach: Showtime’s demo, players have the opportunity to experience two Peach transformations: Swordfighter Peach and Patissiere Peach. As Swordfighter Peach, you can swing, strike, dodge and counterattack while traversing an action-packed stage. Then, transform into Patissiere Peach and get ready to whip up a variety of delectable desserts to prevent the Sweet Festival from experiencing a serious sugar crash.

In Peach’s quest to save the plays at Sparkle Theater, each of her transformations grants her unique abilities. A new overview trailer provides more information on the game, including customization options to add extra flair to Peach’s dress and Stella’s ribbon. Additionally, the trailer gives a closer look at the themed plays that Peach will navigate throughout her journey.

Princess Peach: Showtime can be pre-ordered from select retailers, Nintendo’s official website and Nintendo eShop at a suggested retail price of $59.99. Additionally, a set of pastel pink Nintendo Switch Joy-Con controllers will be available at select retailers and My Nintendo Store for $79.99, coinciding with the release of the game on 22 March 2024.
