Kwalee and Swedish indie developer PowerSnake have announced a publishing agreement for Voidwrought.
Set in a hand-drawn world of cosmic horrors, Voidwrought lets players take control of the newly-born Simulacrum and delve into the thawing ruins of the First Civilisation to strike down the primaeval gods that dwell there. Voidwrought features dramatically realised hand-drawn locations, from the star-scorched Surface to the biomechanical Abandoned Expedition, inhabited by over 70 enemies and 10 formidable bosses.
Voidwrought is a 2D action platformer set in a hand-drawn world of cosmic horrors. Explore the thawing ruins of the First Civilisation and strike down the gods that dwell there. Grow your powers, uncover ancient Artifacts, and expand your shrine amid the wreckage.
Ben Forrester, VP of PC & Console, Kwalee, said:
“We are delighted to partner with Powersnake to add Voidwrought to our expanding portfolio of games. The talented team at Powersnake brings a wealth of experience in developing a wide range of games. Their vision and ambition is exactly what we are looking for in our development partners.”
Christofer Levall, Powersnake, said:
“We’re excited to join forces with Kwalee as our publishing partner, and through our discussions feel assured that our joint passion will bring to life the vision we hold for Voidwrought, and allow us to create the best experience possible.”
