Captain America Brave New World Screenshots Feature Sam Wilson & Harrison Ford’s Character

At the CinemaCon 2024, Marvel Studios showed off new screenshots from the upcoming Captain America Brave New World (via Entertainment Weekly).

Most recently, Anthony Mackie headlined the Disney+ series The Falcon And The Winter Soldier as Sam Wilson opposite Sebastian Stan’s Bucky Barnes. The events of that series ended with Sam Wilson becoming the new Captain America and soon, he will be in his own movie, directed by Julius Onah (The Cloverfield Paradox).

In Captain America Brave New World, Harrison Ford also makes his MCU debut as Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, a role previously played by the late William Hurt in 2008’s The Incredible Hulk and until 2019’s Avengers Endgame. In Captain America Brave New World, the character is the president of the United States Of America.

Captain America Brave New World is described as “more of a grounded espionage action movie as opposed to aliens and airplanes coming through portals and shit” and that it will feel “10 times bigger” than The Falcon And The Winter Soldier.

Other new and returning characters include Danny Ramirez as Joaquin Torres, Shira Haas as Ruth, Liv Tyler as Betty Ross, and Tim Blake Nelson as Samuel Sterns AKA The Leader.
