Girls Und Panzer Returns To World Of Tanks With Reinforcements

World of Tanks players are in for a treat as the hit anime franchise Girls und Panzer returns to World of Tanks, this time bringing even more content for players to enjoy. From May 16th to May 31st, tank commanders will have the opportunity to enlist the expertise of three renowned crews.

The legendary Team-Ankou from the Oarai Girls’ High School is joined by two more from other schools where the art of sensha-d? is respected: Kuromorimine Girls’ High Schooland Jatkosota High School. In addition to the Pz IV Ausf. H Ankou, players will be able to obtain new premium vehicles inspired by the Girls und Panzer universe: the Tiger II Kuromorimine and the BT-42 Jatkosota HS.

The Tiger II Kuromorimine, taking pride of place in Kuromorimine Girls’ High School’s sensha-d? arsenal, its fearsome gun, capable of dealing devastating damage, as well as its robust armour, make it perfectly suited to the Nishizumi’s tanking approach to tankery that Kuromorimine excels at—with an emphasis on precise attack and impenetrable defence. The Tiger II was integral to Kuromorimine’s the National Sensha-d? High School Tournament and, under the command of Erika Itsumi, also played a valiant role in Kuromorimine’s subsequent defeat to Oarai in the 63rd tournament’s finals.

The compact BT-42 Jatkosota HS, accommodates a three-woman crew: Commander Mika, Loader Aki, and Driver Mikko in Jatkosota High School’s sensha-d? team. Most effective when fighting to the rousing kantele melody of Säkkijärven Polkka, the BT-42 excels in close combat, where its high-caliber howitzer can really shine. The BT-42’s moment of glory came during the Battle for Oarai, when its Christie suspension allowed it to keep running even without its tracks and heroically take out a platoon of M26 Pershings from Hand-Picked University Team.

Girls und Panzer characters bring their spirited personalities to the battlefield, with custom voiceovers provided by the original voice actresses. This includes the entire Team-Ankou from Oarai Girls’ High School (Miho Nishizumi, Saori Takebe, Hana Isuzu, Yukari Akiyama, Mako Reizei), Erika Itsumi from Kuromorimine Girls’ High School, and the Jatkosota High School Team (Mika, Aki, Mikko). So, players can align themselves with their favourite sensha-d? team leader, complete missions, and recruit their preferred character to command their vehicles.

Tankers will also have access to an extended set of 2D customization items, including emblems, inscriptions and decals representing schools and teams from the Girls und Panzer universe, a unique Oarai adjustable style, two new Kuromorimine and Jatkosota High School 2D styles, and a collection of chibi-style and pin-up decals featuring the leaders of each school.

Additionally, all tankers can participate in special missions that will reward them with various GuP-themed items including the most desirable ones such as Miho, Mika and Erika as Commanders. Players just need to select the battle mission chains for one of the three Commanders they wish to receive.

Don’t miss the chance to join the action-packed collaboration between World of Tanks and Girls und Panzer. For more information, visit worldoftanks.asia.
