By Lewis "lickety" Larcombe|May 16, 2024|0 Comment
Clouded Leopard Entertainment is set to release The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki and its sequel, Kuro no Kiseki II -CRIMSON SiN-, in affordable “SUPER PRICE” versions for PS5 and PS4 on 29 August.
These editions will be available in Traditional Chinese and Korean, celebrating the 20th anniversary of the acclaimed Kiseki series, which has sold over 7.5 million copies.
Simultaneously, Kuro no Kiseki II will debut on the Nintendo Switch with optimised features for the platform. The Switch version includes High-Speed Mode, an Archive function, customisable speed settings, character introductions, explanations of series terminology, and a narrative recap of the first game.
Set in the Republic of Calvard, Kuro no Kiseki follows Van Arkride, a Spriggan, who becomes embroiled in a crisis that shakes the republic. The game features a dynamic battle system switching between field action and command battles, with customisable character abilities via the Xipha tactical orbment.
In Kuro no Kiseki II -CRIMSON SiN-, Van investigates a shocking murder in the capital city of Edith in the year S.1209. The game introduces Chapter Select for diverse story development and the Märchen Garten, a free dungeon with flexible party formation.
Exclusive bonuses are available for both versions. The physical edition of Kuro no Kiseki II on Switch includes the Kuro no Kiseki II Triple Content Set, featuring Van’s Exclusive Mishy Suit, a special in-game system voice, and a Sora no Kiseki series BGM set. A digital pre-order campaign on the Nintendo eShop offers a 10% discount and the Triple Content Set as a bonus for early purchasers until 28 August.
With these releases, Clouded Leopard Entertainment aims to make the immersive experience of the Kiseki series accessible to a broader audience, providing fans with enhanced and affordable versions of these beloved RPGs.
