Palia Adds New Building Blocks System, Chat Bubbles & More in Latest Update

Singularity 6 Corporation, the publisher and developer of Palia has launched the highly anticipated 0.180 update, also known as the Crafted Comforts update. This update is now available for Palia on Nintendo Switch and PC, bringing a host of new features and enhancements to the game.

One of the standout additions in this update is the introduction of the Building Blocks system, which empowers players to explore their creativity and take their housing plots to new heights of innovation. Additionally, players can now access the new Grand Harvest House, featuring an indoor spiral staircase and a charming front porch.

In addition to these housing-related enhancements, players can now deepen their relationships with in-game villagers such as Jina, Hekla, and Einar, by attaining Level 5 Friendship. This achievement unlocks the opportunity for players to receive exclusive decor rewards upon completing each friendship questline.

Plus, the popular Hotpot minigame has been permanently integrated into the Underground Black Market, delighting players with its continued presence. Furthermore, a new chat bubble feature has been introduced, enabling players to engage in conversations with friends through any chat channel.

Party members can now share loot for most gathering activities, fostering a sense of camaraderie and cooperation among players. This means that when party members are in close proximity to one another, they will receive loot for each other’s actions, ensuring that everyone benefits from the group’s efforts. This feature extends to activities such as woodcutting, mining, insect catching, and hunting, and even encompasses coveted items like Plushies.

With the release of the Crafted Comforts update, Palia players can look forward to an enhanced and more interactive gaming experience, as they explore new features, deepen their connections with in-game characters, and collaborate with friends in exciting new ways.

Palia is out now for Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam. You can find the full patch notes here.
