Everspace 2 Is Getting An Xbox & PlayStation Port Next Month

Looter space shooter and Freelancer/Wing Commander: Privateer callback title Everspace 2 will be out on consoles soon.

Developer Rockfish Games will be releasing the Xbox Series and PlayStation 5 versions of Everspace 2 on 15 August for US$49.99. The game will be available on Xbox Game Pass as well.

In addition, there will be a physical version of the game coming out on 3rd October; this version features a steelbook case, a 64-page art book, and a digital soundtrack.

In case you missed it, Everspace 2 is out now for PC. The game has sold over 350,000 copies on Steam; it’s basically a spaceship sim with arcade-like controls and Diablo-like action RPG looter shooter mechanics and similar rewards system. Heck, the best guns in the game are gold-coloured to boot! And you have a slew of spaceships you can choose from like the super-fast Stinger to the multi-weapon Gunship.
