Summer Of Gaming 2024 Schedule: Video Game Live Streams & Showcases

E3 is dead and gone forever, but don’t be sad, folks! Summer has arrived, and the spirit of summer for the games industry will always be there.

What that means is that we can still expect a whole bunch of major video game showcases, live streams and presentations throughout the season. This year’s lineup could potentially be the biggest one yet since we’re now in the middle of the current generation since it originally launched back in 2020.

Guerrilla Collective Showcase

Each year, the Guerilla Collective provides a platform for indie and AA games. This year’s most likely going to be the same, with the showcase promising “big new game announcements, reveals, trailer premieres, fresh gameplay, and more”.

Summer Game Fest 2024

At the time of writing, not much has been revealed about this year’s Summer Game Fest event but we can rest assured that we can expect at least two whole hours full of world premieres, game announcements and PLENTY of advertisements.

The 20-minute broadcast will feature “a big handful of gaming gifts, including updates and release dates for upcoming titles, as well as some exciting new reveals.”

Xbox Games Showcase 2024 & Call of Duty Direct 2024

This will be the first Xbox Games Showcase fully featuring all the companies under Xbox, including Activision Blizzard, Bethesda, and Microsoft’s Xbox Game Studios.

A Call Of Duty Direct 2024 live stream will take place immediately after that Xbox Games Showcase 2024. However, Xbox themselves are keeping it (mostly) a secret for now.

PC Gaming Show 2024

Monday, 10 June 2024 at 4 AM GMT+8

This year’s PC Gaming Show livestream will be notable for being the 10-year anniversary of the show. Other than that, no other details have been revealed, but it will take place sometime in June 2024.

Ubisoft Forward 2024

Ubisoft has been keeping mum on what games will be featured, but we can probably expect information on major titles like Star Wars Outlaws, the Splinter Cell remake, Assassin’s Creed Red (the one set in Japan) and more.

Nintendo Direct June 2024

The only details that Nintendo revealed about this live stream are that it will happen sometime in June 2024 and that it will NOT feature any information about the confirmed successor console to the Nintendo Switch AKA Nintendo Switch 2.
