The First LEGO The Legend Of Zelda Set Will Be Out This September

LEGO and Nintendo’s partnership is ongoing, with the latest collaboration being an iconic The Legend of Zelda set.

The upcoming Legend of Zelda: Great Deku tree set will be out on 1st September worldwide. The set comes with 2,500 pieces and a choice between two designs: the Deku tree from Ocarina of Time (green leaves) and the Deku tree from Breath of the Wild (pink leaves). In addition, the set also comes with four LEGO minifigures: Ocarina of Time Young Link and Link, and BotW Link and Zelda. Buildable creatures include Hestu the Korok, Deku Babas, Navi the Fairy, Deku Sprout, and a Skulltula.

Here’s a PR quote from current Legend of Zelda series producer Eiji Aonuma:

“I’m really thrilled that The Legend of Zelda is joining the world of Lego bricks, which has spurred the creative impulses of so many people of all ages. The Deku Tree was the first element from The Legend of Zelda we wanted to represent using Lego bricks. This set allows you to build two different versions of the Deku Tree from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild with unique features that are a great fit for the nature of the series. I can’t wait for everyone to get the chance to build this part of The Legend of Zelda world with their own hands.”

The first-ever Legend of Zelda LEGO set will cost US$300.
