Warrior Prime Minister Lidia Sobieska Gets New Tekken 8 Trailer

Bandai Namco has released the latest gameplay trailer for Tekken 8, featuring the second DLC character, Lidia Sobieska. The two-minute video shows the Polish Prime Minister using her karate moves to fight against Leroy, Jin, and Reina.

Lidia’s fighting style focuses on traditional karate, with plenty of closed fist strikes and kicks from various angles. Her style is somewhat similar to Kazuya Mishima’s, as they are both based on the same form, but she is considered a more traditional practitioner, resulting in a slightly less flashy style.

She was teased at the end of the roadmap trailer last month, with players can expect a steady stream of exciting content updates in Tekken 8, including the Seaside Resort stage and the Photo Mode option.

Lidia Sobieska is expected to be available in Tekken 8 sometime in the summer of 2024, but no specific release date has been confirmed.

Tekken 8 is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam.
