Elden Ring Reaches New Sales Milestone Ahead of Shadow of the Erdtree

Bandai Namco and FromSoftware announced that the soulslike RPG Elden Ring has reached an incredible sales milestone, including total worldwide shipments and digital sales.

By June 2024, Elden Ring has captivated a global audience of 25 million purchasers. This update follows the previous sales figure reported in February 2023, which stood at 20 million copies. Thus, within approximately 16 months, an impressive 5 million additional copies found their owners.

In light of this remarkable success, the developers have taken the opportunity to share their heartfelt thanks to the community, which was marked by the unveiling of stunning new Elden Ring key art.

Further exciting news includes the launch of a fresh trailer by FromSoftware, titled The Journey So Far. This trailer serves as a compelling refresher or introduction to the intricate world of Elden Ring, summarizing the epic narrative players have been or will be embarking upon. The focus was on elements familiar to players leading up to the highly anticipated DLC.

The upcoming expansion, Shadow of the Erdtree, is scheduled for release on 21 June 2024, and with only nine days remaining, it is creating a buzz among fans.
