Lots Of People Have Yet To Beat This One Elden Ring Boss To Start The Shadow of the Erdtree DLC
Elden Ring’s big DLC will be out later on 21 June; that’s 6 days from now. And people may not be ready for it just yet.
As mentioned publicly through previews, the expansion isn’t your typical “buy it and jump in” sort of deal. You have to work for your entrance. To access the Shadowlands, you need to defeat two bosses:
- Starscourge Radahn, who is a required boss in the main story to defeat.
- Mohg, Lord of Blood.
So far, only 34.4% people on the PC (Steam) version have beaten Mohg. That means about 65.6% or so haven’t. Here are other console stats (via ResetEra):
- PlayStation – 34.7%
- Xbox – 17.7%
There’s a good reason why: he’s a pretty tough optional boss. Hence, these PSA messages on X/Twitter you’ve seen as of late and why the boss is trending on the social media platform. And a ton of Elden Ring veterans are rallying to help others beat Mohg; that’s the gaming community for you.

Elden Ring: How To Find Mohg, Lord of Blood
- Mohg is found in a region called Mohgwyn Palace. There are two ways to get to it: play through the PvP quest from Varre the whitemask guy.
- The second method is going through a teleporter found in the west side of the Consecrated Snowfield.
Elden Ring: How To Beat Mohg, Lord Of Blood
One of the tougher optional bosses in Elden Ring. Mohg, Lord of Blood is a hard-hitting boss with the capability of creating hostile environments that cause bleed buildup. However, he also has slow combos with plenty of openings for a melee user to take advantage of.
