PUBG Master Series 2024 Concludes with Team Bliss at the Top

The highly anticipated PUBG Master Series 2024 Phase 2 (PMS 2024) concluded on 23 June, delivering a thrilling spectacle for esports enthusiasts worldwide. Hosted online over three days from 21 June to 23 June, the event showcased the best of the best in the PUBG esports scene, with 16 teams battling for supremacy and a share of the US$20,000 prize pool.

 

Team Bliss Shines Bright

Emerging victorious in this high-stakes tournament was Team Bliss, an Australian powerhouse that demonstrated exceptional skill and strategy throughout the event. Their stellar performance earned them the coveted first seed and the top prize of US$6,000. This achievement not only solidifies their status as one of the premier teams in the region but also grants them direct entry into the final stage of both the 2024 PUBG Global Series APAC Qualifiers and the Esports World Cup 2024: APAC Qualifier.

 

Bleed Esports Secures Second Place

Hot on the heels of Team Bliss was Bleed Esports, a formidable Indonesian squad that proved their mettle by securing the second seed and a US$3,000 prize. Their consistent gameplay and tactical acumen have earned them a spot alongside Team Bliss in the final stages of the upcoming qualifiers, setting the stage for more intense competition.

 

Impressive Performances from Malaysian and Taiwanese Teams

The competition was fierce, with notable performances from teams across the APAC region. Malaysian teams ShuaiGedui and PMA placed third and fifth, respectively. ShuaiGedui’s impressive showing garnered them US$2,000, while PMA took home $1,000. Both teams have now qualified for Round 1 of the Esports World Cup 2024: APAC Qualifier and the Playoff stage of the 2024 PUBG Global Series APAC Qualifiers, positioning themselves as strong contenders for future events.

Xavage Men Esports from Taiwan also made a significant impact, finishing in fourth place and earning US$1,500. Their consistent performance throughout the tournament ensures their place in the upcoming qualifiers, where they will undoubtedly be a team to watch.

 

The Road Ahead

With the conclusion of PMS 2024 Phase 2, the stage is set for the next chapter in competitive PUBG. The top ten teams from this event will move forward to the APAC qualifiers for both the PUBG Global Series and the Esports World Cup, carrying the momentum of their recent performances.
