Apple Arcade to add Three New Exciting Games in August 2024

Apple Arcade subscribers can expect three new exciting games to be added to the gaming subscription service in August 2024. Temple Run: Legends, Vampire Survivors+, and a spatial version of Castle Crumble will join the lineup, offering players a variety of experiences.

Temple Run: Legends will be the first game to debut to Apple Arcade, on 1 August 2024. Developed by Imangi Studios, this Apple Arcade exclusive offers players a chance to explore the ancient world of Aperion through new gameplay modes, over 500 story levels, and an all-new cast of characters. Fans of the popular franchise can not only run, but also, swim, jump, and join a legion of heroes in Temple Run: Legends.

Following closely on the same date is Vampire Survivors+, an award-winning multiplayer game by Poncle. It allows up to four players to battle hordes of undead creatures in various settings, offering an action-packed survival experience.

Vision Pro users can look forward to the spatial version of Castle Crumble, which will be available on 29 August. Developed by Orbital Knight, this physics-based puzzle game is tailored to take advantage of Vision Pro’s capabilities, allowing players to demolish fantastical castles using hand gestures in their physical space.

But that’s not all! Alongside the announcement, the Apple Arcade will be getting new updates for existing games on the subscription service this July. These updates include:

  • Sonic Racing to get a new character, Rockstar Rouge and new kart power levels on 18 July.
  • Hello Kitty Island Adventure will be celebrating International Day of Friendship and its first anniversary with the Friendship Festival event starting 25 July.
  • Fresh content for Tamagotchi Adventure Kingdom, WHAT THE CAR?, SpongeBob: Patty Pursuit and Snake.io.

Apple Arcade offers a family-friendly gaming experience across Apple devices, with no ads or in-app purchases. The service provides access to its entire game library for up to six family members under a single subscription. Apple Arcade is available for RM29.90 per month with a one-month free trial.

Those who purchased a new iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple TV will receive three months of Apple Arcade subscription for free. Some of the monthly plans available are Individual (RM34.90), Family (RM44.90), and Premier (RM84.90).

To find out more about the subscription service, visit the Apple Arcade official website.
