Fatal Fury: City of The Wolves Brings Back Fiery Cop Kevin Rian

After the epic The King of Fighters XV top 6 tournament at EVO 2024, SNK proceeded to introduce the next character in its upcoming Fatal Fury fighting game: a cop.

Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves will be adding Kevin Rian in its roster. The cop, who happens to be a cousin of Fatal Fury character Blue Mary, is from Garou: Mark of the Wolves. He has explosive moves, hits hard, and has a low profile crawl move with a ton of mixups. He was quite a powerhouse in competitive play in MOTW, being a top tier pick in most tournaments.

“SWAT officer and keeper of the peace stationed in South Town. With trusty companion Marky in tow, this hard-hitting lawman scours the city’s streets in pursuit of the sinister Freeman—the man who murdered his best friend in cold blood. Kevin’s moves are inherently explosive, wildly energetic, and supremely effective; indeed, no perp has ever been able to walk away from them scot-free.”

The trailer below seems to indicate that he has most of his old MOTW moves back. He gets a new Super DM move where he punches a mortar and it blows up on his opponent’s face.
