Forestrike is a Kung Fu Roguelike game from Olija Devs
If you’re ready to amp up your martial arts gaming skills to perfection, then Devolver Digital and Olija developer Skeleton Crew Studio have something that’ll suit your needs. Introducing Forestrike, where you will have to plan your moves to give that perfect kung fu execution.
You’ll assume the role of a novice martial artist aiming to free your country from the clutches of an evil admiral. You’ll need to face a series of kung fu challenges, outnumbered in each fight, but armed with the Foresight, a clairvoyance skill that allows you to plan your strategy in advance.
Forestrike is a high-stakes action puzzle where you must choreograph the perfect sequence of dodges and strikes to overcome waves of enemy attacks. If you fail, your run ends, but the Foresight skill lets you replay the upcoming fight in your mind palace to refine your strategy before trying again.

The game offers charming 2D-pixel art and draws inspiration from the style of Karateka. While there is no release date yet, Forestrike will launch for Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam sometime in 2025.
