Mecha BREAK’s Open Beta Begins Next Month

After a thrilling showcase at the Summer Game Fest and the Xbox Games Showcase back in June, Amazing Seasun Games is gearing up to launch the first-ever Open Beta Test for their high-intensity multiplayer mech shooter, Mecha BREAK, from 10 to 13 August. But before that, a Limited Access Beta Test will be held from 2 to 8 August for those who participated in previous Closed Betas, loyal community members, and influencers. Keen players can sign up now on Mecha BREAK’s Steam page.

The Open Beta will highlight the adrenaline-fuelled 6v6 Battlefield mode, offering a taste of the game’s fast-paced, three-dimensional hero shooter experience. This latest beta introduces a brand-new pilotable mech named Stego and brings significant tweaks to combat rhythm, time-to-kill, and overall game speed, ramping up the excitement even more.

How to Join the Limited Access Beta

Now if you’re not an influencer, loyal community member or have participated in previous Closed Betas and are keen on trying this new mecha game out before the Open Beta then there is hope. You can follow @MechaBREAK on all social media, pre-register on the official website, and watch any streamers streaming on Twitch to snag a test code through Twitch Drops. Plus, extra codes will be available from partners like Razer and ALIENWARE.

High-Octane Mech Battles

Mecha BREAK plunges players into high-octane battles with fully customisable mechs designed by renowned artists Takayuki Yanase (Metal Gear, Gundam, Armored Core, Death Stranding) and Junya Ishigaki (Xenogears, Gundam, Macross). Players will enjoy seamless, electrifying gameplay across various modes, including 3v3 Arena, 6v6 Battlefield, and the expansive up to 60-player PvEvP mode.

Key Features

  • No Pilot Flies Alone: Team up in squads of three or six, showcasing your piloting skills to conquer enemies and achieve strategic victories. In the up to 60-player PvEvP mode, navigate ambushes and rival mechs to change the course of the battle.
  • A Vast Arsenal of Mechs and Weapons: Discover an impressive array of mechs—assault, melee, sniper, reconnaissance, and support—each with unique playstyles. Engage in intense aerial and ground combat, using strategic tactics for both close and long-range encounters. Unleash devastating firepower, precision beams, and missile barrages in exhilarating battles.
  • Fully Customisable Mechs: Personalise your mech down to the finest details. Tailor every aspect, from full-body paint jobs to unique armour and weapon colours. Choose from a variety of finishes and decals to create a truly unique mech masterpiece.

With a focus on strategic planning, teamwork, and customisation, Mecha BREAK is set to keep players captivated for hours on end.

Mecha BREAK’s Open Beta Test will be available on Steam from 10 to 13 August 2024. Don’t miss the chance to wishlist the game and sign up for the Open Beta here.
