Brace yourselves for “Outbreak,” a heart-pounding, limited-time mode where you and your squad must fend off relentless Necromorph hordes and make a daring escape. Mark your calendars because this adrenaline-fuelled adventure runs from 9 to 16 July, part of the grand finale, Season 7 – Turning Point, which launched in March.

But the chills don’t stop there. The Dead Space franchise, beloved by fans and critics alike, has hit a rocky patch. Despite the triumphant return of the Dead Space remake in January 2023, recent reports indicate that lacklustre sales have put the series on ice. Motive Studios, the masterminds behind the remake, were eager to continue the saga.
However, their ambitions have been redirected. They’ve now joined forces with EA’s elite—DICE, Criterion, and Ripple Effect—to craft an interconnected Battlefield universe that promises to blend thrilling multiplayer chaos with gripping single-player narratives.

In another twist, EA is bidding farewell to some Battlefield classics. Say goodbye to Battlefield 3 (2011), Battlefield 4 (2013), and Battlefield Hardline (2015). Starting 31 July, these legends, along with their DLCs, will be delisted from digital stores on Xbox 360 and PS3. It’s the end of an era, so grab them while you can!
This summer is shaping up to be a rollercoaster for Battlefield and Dead Space fans alike. Whether you’re battling Necromorphs or reminiscing over classic skirmishes, there’s no shortage of excitement on the horizon. So buckle up, soldiers—it’s going to be a wild ride.
