New The Boys Spinoff Prequel Announced, Titled Vought Rising

At San Diego Comic-Con 2024 (SDCC 2024), Prime Video announced the second The Boys spinoff after Gen V (or third, if you count the animated anthology, The Boys Presents Diabolical). Titled Vought Rising, it will be a prequel that features the return of Jensen Ackles and Aya Cash reprising their roles as Soldier Boy and Stormfront, respectively.

The Boys series executive producer Paul Grellong serves as executive producer and showrunner on Vought Rising.

During the panel at SDCC, they described Vought Rising (via Deadline):

“It’s a twisted murder mystery about the origins of Vought in the 1950s, the early exploits of Soldier Boy, and the diabolical maneuvers of a Supe known to fans as Stormfront, who was then going by the name Clara Vought. We cannot wait to blow your minds and trouble your souls with this salacious, grisly saga drenched in blood and Compound V.”

They also confirmed that Gen V Season 2 will premiere sometime in 2025.
