SEGA’s Crazy Taxi Reboot Will Be An Open-World Multiplayer Game

Last year, SEGA announced a bunch of remakes and reboots for its classic games, including Crazy Taxi. Now, in a new video published on YouTube, SEGA reveals that the Crazy Taxi reboot will be an open-world multiplayer game.

The SEGA Crazy Taxi developer interview video also shows clips of multiple yellow taxis racing each other, as well as police cars in pursuit. SEGA’s recruitment page also reveals that the game is being developed in Unreal Engine.

According to the video, the game is being designed with realism and a sense of freedom, with players being given activities to explore in a ‘theme park-like environment’.

However, no other details were confirmed, such as platforms or a release date/release window.
