One of the world’s biggest and richest esports events, the Esports World Cup 2024, is ongoing with many esports games taking place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The past weekend of 8th to 11th August was Street Fighter 6, which featured a huge number of top players such as Punk, AngryBird, Xiaohai, Tokido, and many more. The tournament’s final 32 players were divided into 8 different groups for the first stage, which featured an internal double elimination bracket from which the top 2 players in each group advance. Then those players form a new set of 4 groups (since there are 16 left) using the same double elimination format. The final fight will be a first-to-five single elimination bracket until a winner is declared. The winner will win US$300,000 out of the US$1,000,000 prize pool for the Street Fighter 6 tournament.
