Microsoft Reveals Exciting Games Lineup for Gamescom 2024

Xbox Game Studios has revealed its plans to make a major splash at Gamescom 2024, announcing that it will have its largest booth yet at the gaming convention. The Xbox booth will showcase more than 50 playable games, featuring releases from both first-party Xbox Games Studios and third-party Xbox titles. More games are set to be unveiled as Gamescom 2024 approaches.

Attendees will have the opportunity to try out upcoming Xbox releases such as Age of Mythology: Retold, Ara: History Untold, Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred, Fallout 76: Milepost Zero, The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Road, and Towerborne.

Xbox will also present exclusive theatre presentations of highly anticipated titles including Avowed, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, and Starfield: Shattered Space.

Blizzard will also be part of the Xbox booth at Gamescom 2024, featuring a hands-on gameplay demo of the Diablo 4 Spiritborn class, along with a Diablo Immortal Helliquary boss tournament. Additionally, a special World of Warcraft experience will be available, offering attendees the chance to experience Skyriding in Azeroth.

In addition to first-party titles, the Xbox booth will feature playable games from third-party publishers, including Star Wars Outlaws by Ubisoft, ARK 2 by Studio Wildcard, Space Marine 2 by Saber Interactive, Atomfall by Rebellion, and the return of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl with a new demo by GSC Game World.

Gamescom Opening Night Live, the pre-show hosted by Geoff Keighley, will kick off on 20 August, with the main event running from 21-25 August 2024.

On the other hand, Sony and Nintendo have both confirmed that they will be skipping Gamescom 2024. Sony stated that they have no plans for the show, while Nintendo confirmed the same earlier in the year.
