Bandai Namco is in a heckuva windfall, as its hardcore open world RPG title Elden Ring is selling gangbusters still.
The company announced in its financial results report for the fiscal year ending 31 March 2022 that Elden Ring worldwide shipment and sales surpassed 13.4 million copies. Last we checked, the game shipped 12 million units in mid-March. So yeah, great news and a good argument for single-player games still selling in the market.
Elden Ring came out on 25 February worldwide and received universal acclaim, despite some game developers who worked on another open world action RPG title that came out a week before being incredibly bitter about it. For more Elden Ring, check out our guides and features.
