Pixar To Release Its First-Ever Animated Series Later In 2024

During the recent D23 Expo for 2024, Disney and Pixar announced a slew of new movies like Toy Story 5 and The Incredibles 3. Yes, Pixar is on a sequel bender, but also hard at work at a new episodic animated series.

The upcoming show is called Win or Lose and it’s about a small little league softball team. The story is told through eight different perspectives ranging from the coach (Will Forte) to the insecure kids in the team. Check out the pretty high-budget-for-a-TV-show trailer below.

Directed, written and executive produced by Carrie Hobson and Michael Yates, and produced by David Lally, the new series reveals what it feels like to be in the shoes of eight different characters—the insecure kids, their helicopter parents, even a lovesick umpire—as they prepare for a championship softball game. Will Forte lends his voice to the coach.

Win Or Lose will be streaming on Disney+ & Disney+ Hotstar worldwide on 6th December. It’ll most likely be loaded with Pixar movie cameos & easter eggs, so expect a video of that from us before 2024 ends.
