This year’s D23 Disney entertainment expo presentation was filled with sequels galore. Whether it’s a 3D Disney animated show or a Star Wars entry, there is no shortage of exciting announcements for fans of these giants and their new shows and lineup.

Disney has teased a huge number of exclusive reveals and shows for 2025 and 2026, so they’re cooking heavy alright. Here’s a recap of all of them.

 

Marvel’s What If Season 3 Is The Last

Marvel’s What If Season 2 premiered in December 2023. Not much else is revealed, but there will be tons of fun scenarios in tow if the last two seasons are of any indication.

 

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Animated Series Announced

At D23, Marvel Studios announced several of the voice actors and gave us a new look at the upcoming Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man animated series.

Hudson Thames will voice Peter Parker AKA Spider-Man while Colman Domingo will voice Norman Osborn AKA the Green Goblin.

 

X-Men ’97 Season 2 Will Showcase Grant Morrison Run’s X-Treme Costumes

Here’s what happened in the Season 2 teaser:

X-Men wear the Morrison Suits – Wolverine, Jean, & Scott. Nightcrawler fighting wearing Egyptian robes, Living Danger Room female robot character (Danger). Wolverine seemingly recovered from Magneto’s attack on him at the end of season 1, shows his claws out.

We’re just waiting for Emma Frost to join the team with bated breath.

The upcoming animated movie is brand new and stars Jon Hamm, Bobby Moynihan, and Piper Curda. The show is about a little girl who uses a special science machine to take over a beaver to infiltrate the animal kingdom. Out Spring 2026.

 

Pixar Sci-Fi Movie Elio Out Mid-2025

The upcoming sci-fi movie will also star Zoe Saldana as Elio’s aunt.

The cop adventures of Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde will start late 2025, with new characters like Gary the viper debuting (voiced by Ke Huy Quan).

The upcoming film is slated for 2025 and will focus on continuing the Tron storyline, with a new technological villain who wants to take over the real world. Stars Jeff Bridges and Jared Leto. And if you can’t tell from the picture above, the soundtrack is composed by rock band Nine Inch Nails.
