The Next Spider-Verse Movie Allegedly Delayed To 2027 Onward [Update]
[Update 10/9/2024 4pm GMT+8]: Spider-Verse movie series composer Daniel Pemberton has stated that the delay is not accurate. We will still keep the original rumour for reference. In any case, we may be seeing the third and final Spider-Verse film soon, fingers crossed!
Don’t really ever want to weigh in on this sort of stuff BUT would you ever believe there could sometimes be stuff on the internet that might not always be particularly accurate? Hmmmm…

Original story
So much for Spider-Man fans getting some closure to the Spider-Verse next year.
According to a recent tidbit on The Insneider, Spider-Man: Beyond The Spider-Verse (the third in the Spider-Verse trilogy) may be delayed until 2027 or after. Why? To make room for a new Marvel & Sony-produced Spider-Man live-action movie starring Tom Holland and Zendaya, directed by Destin Daniel Cretton.
There is now no confirmed release date for Spider-Man: Beyond The Spider-Verse at this point in time. Seeing as the Spider-Verse series ended on a cliffhanger, this will make most fans irate. Then again, nothing’s been confirmed by both Sony Pictures and Marvel, so anything’s possible.
