Wednesday Season 2 Trailer Teases Sneak Peek, Premieres In 2025
During Netflix Geeked Week 2024, Netflix unveiled a behind-the-scenes look at Wednesday Season 2, which will premiere sometime in 2025.
The eight-episode first season of the series focused on Wednesday Addams (played by Jenna Ortega) of the Addams Family, which originally debuted on 23 November 2022. The series set a new platform record for most hours viewed for an English language series in its first week with over 341 million hours and it has grown to become the second biggest English language season of television on Netflix with over 1.2 billion hours viewed within its first 28 days.
Wednesday Season 2 stars Jenna Ortega, Steve Buscemi, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzman, Joanna Lumley, Christopher Lloyd, Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, Hunter Doohan, Fred Armisen, Thandiwe Newton, Victor Dorobantu, Billie Piper, Haley Joel Osment, Heather Matarazzo, Georgie Farmer, Moosa Mostafa, Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo, Isaac Ordonez, Evie Templeton, Owen Painter, Noah Taylor, Frances O’Connor, Joonas Suotamo, Jamie McShane and more.
Alfred Gough and Miles Millar developed the series and also served as co-showrunners and executive producers. Tim Burton directed the first four episodes and is also an executive producer on the series.
