This Virtual Pop Idol Will Be Headlining The Upcoming Gundam Metaverse Concert

Back in 2022, Bandai Namco announced the Gundam Metaverse Project, which obviously involved a limited-time event involving Gundam mechas. It also costs around US$130 million, meaning that Bandai Namco is putting a lot of stock into it.

Two limited-time events later, the company has announced a third Metaverse event, scheduled for early December. Not only that, it will be a concert and will feature Vocaloid star Hatsune Miku.

Yes, that is a legit poster of Hatsune Miku with a Gundam in the background. The vocaloid star will hold a live concert performance in the Metaverse event on 5th December and will last until 9th December. This is to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the Gundam franchise, with Hatsune Miku appearing in different uniforms and outfits inspired by the mecha series.
