This year’s Level Up SEA Game Awards have come and gone, with our winners being Thailand company Bit Egg Inc. and the country of Indonesia. Oh, and Larian Studio.

Bit Egg Inc’s game Lost and Found Co. has won the peak Grand Jury award and the Best Visual Art award. Indonesia snagged the most awards among all the Southeast Asian countries, with the country winning 5 awards for its plethora of games and getting the Audience Choice award to boot.

This is followed by Malaysia which secured three wins for Best Technology (Pastopia), Best Development Studio (Weyrdworks and their recent game Weyrdlets), and Best Student Game Award (Paper Pal). The best international award goes to Australian-made cat game Copy Cat. In addition, Larian Studios in Malaysia gets the Special Recognition Award, with its Malaysian branch getting top honours and Larian CEO Swen Vincke appearing on-stage with his team to accept the award.
