Mobile Legends M6 World Championship Wild Card & Swiss Stage Group Draw Announced
With Mobile Legends’ biggest esports approaching in 13 days, the groupings for the competition have been made official, with many Southeast Asian teams and worldwide players duking it out for MLBB supremacy.
During today’s M6 World Championship Unveil event hosted by Moonton and featuring the appearance of Malaysia Deputy Minister of Youth & Sports Yang Berhormat Tuan Adam Adli bin Abd Halim, the teams in the Wild Card Groupings and Swiss Stage Grouping have been determined.
The random picks were done by Tuan Adam Adli as he draw lots from a box with spheres containing team names. Here’s the Wild Card Groupings list:
Group A
- Geekay Esports (Middle-East & North Africa/MPL MENA S6)
- Dianfengyaoguai (China/China Qualifier)
- Niightmare Esports (Laos/MCC Mekong S4)
- Ulfhednar (Turkey/MTC S4)
Group B
- The Mongolz (Mongolia/ENC Mongolia)
- Legion Esports (Vietnam/MCC Mekong S4)
- Insilio (CIS/MCC S4)
- RRQ Akira (Brazil/MPL Latam S2)
Here’s the official grouping of the M6 Swiss Stage.
- Keep Best Gaming (China) VS RRQ Hoshi (Indonesia)
- Falcon Esports (Myanmar) VS Aurora (Philippines)
- Wildcard Winner VS BloodThirstyKings (USA)
- Team Spirit (CIS) VS Maycam Evolve (Argentina)
- Twisted Minds (Saudi Arabia) VS Team Vamos (Malaysia)
- Team Liquid ID (Indonesia) VS Fnatic ONIC PH (Philippines)
- NIP Flash (Singapore) VS CFU Gaming (Cambodia)
- S2G Esports (Turkey) VS Selangor Red Giants (Malaysia)
Good to see two Malaysian pro teams in the main M6 grouping. Still, it’s a helluva fight for everyone involved, especially with a lot of Southeast Asians in the field out for blood.
The Mobile Legends M6 World Championship series will start from 21st November to 15 December. A grand opening for the tournament will be hosted at the end of November.
