Indie developer Sunny Peak and publisher Headup Games have announced the release date for their enchanting new musical 2D platformer, Symphonia. This unique, non-violent precision platformer invites players to navigate a beautifully crafted world where music is the key to revitalization.
Step into the shoes of Philemon, a mysterious violinist whose violin and bow serve as both instruments and tools for traversing a vibrant landscape. Players will launch themselves through diverse environments, tackling engaging platforming challenges and activating intricate machinery that breathes life back into a silenced world. Your mission is to gather talented musical prodigies and stage breathtaking concerts, rekindling joy and harmony throughout the land.
Explore a rich musical universe inspired by the symphonic orchestra, populated with a colourful cast of characters. Each area of Symphonia boasts its own unique atmosphere and meticulously hand-crafted spaces. Connect with gifted musicians and entice them to join your orchestra, enhancing your musical journey.
The game features a variety of soundtracks, inspired by the romantic period and masterfully composed by Olivier Esman. Experience the magic of live performance delivered by the Scoring Orchestra Paris, specifically recorded for this game. Each concert will focus on a distinct family of instruments—strings, brass, or woodwinds—creating an immersive auditory experience for players worldwide.
Symphonia is set to launch on 6 December 2024 and will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
Get ready to embark on a musical adventure that promises to engage both your senses and your heart!
