Amazon Will Renew Secret Level For Another Season; Here’s Why
Good news for fans of anthology series and 10-minute compilations of lovely animation: Secret Level is getting another season.
Amazon Prime Video has renewed the video game anthology series for Season 2. This is possibly because the show is the most-watched animated series debut of all time within its first week. However, official viewership numbers were not provided. Third-party sources like insights company Luminate stated that the show had 1.4 million views during its debut week of 10 December. It should be noted that the first 8 episodes came out on that week, with the remaining 7 released on 17th December.
Here’s another tidbit that might entice fans of the Mega Man short: showrunner Tim Miller said previously that if any short from Season 1 would continue, it would be Mega Man. Fans of the Blue Bomber can now hope for a possible future for the Capcom franchise, at least in animated anthology form.
