Bankai! The upcoming 3D anime arena fighting game adaptation of Shonen Jump’s former top 3 beau Bleach finally has a release date.

Bleach: Rebirth of Souls will Shunpo/Flash Step its way onto PC, Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4 on 21st March 2025. You can pre-order the game to get a Thousand-Year Blood War costume set for Hitsugaya and Yoruichi.

Based on the release date trailer below, the game’s story mode will retell the Soul Society Arc, which is arguably the high point of the entire manga and anime series. The graphics and aesthetics here look really good; let’s hope this title gets the Dragon Ball Sparking treatment when it comes to cutscenes and additional content/intros. And I also do wonder if they’ll play/remix the anime series’ most iconic themes like “Number One” and “On The Precipice of Defeat“.
