Christmas Movie Red One Drops On Prime Video Tomorrow

Prime Video has announced that Red One will premiere on the streaming service on Thursday, 12 December 2024.

After Santa Claus – Code Name: RED ONE – is kidnapped, the North Pole’s Head of Security (Dwayne Johnson) must team up with the world’s most infamous bounty hunter (Chris Evans) in a globe-trotting, action-packed mission to save Christmas.

Directed by Jake Kasdan (“Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle”), the film stars Johnson as the head of North Pole security and Evans as a notorious hacker and bounty hunter. When Santa Claus (played by J.K. Simmons) is kidnapped, the two must team up “in a globe-trotting, action-packed mission to save Christmas,” according to the film’s synopsis.

“Red One” also stars Lucy Liu, Kiernan Shipka, Bonnie Hunt, Kristofer Hivju, Nick Kroll and Wesley Kimmel. The Amazon MGM film has grossed US$164 million at the worldwide box office so far after originally being set as a streaming-only release.
