Ciri Takes Centre Stage In The First Witcher 4 Trailer

It’s official: Ciri takes the lead in The Witcher 4. CD Projekt finally dropped a trailer for the highly anticipated game during The Game Awards, giving fans their first real look at the next chapter of the series.

The trailer shows Ciri battling monsters, mastering new elemental powers, and grappling with haunting visions. It’s a fitting evolution for a character long teased to take centre stage, especially after Doug Cockle (Geralt’s voice) hinted earlier this year that Geralt would step back from the spotlight—earning himself a scolding from CDPR, of course.

The last time we got a new Witcher game was 2015’s Wild Hunt, so fans are thrilled to finally get confirmation of Ciri’s starring role. With the game expected before the end of 2027, there’s plenty of time to revisit The Witcher 3 and gear up for the next epic adventure.
