Aniplex has officially unveiled plans to adapt GNOSIA, the acclaimed visual novel and social deduction RPG developed by Petit Depotto and published by PLAYISM, into a television anime set to air in 2025.

The game’s narrative dives into the unsettling mystery of the “Gnosia,” a deadly lifeform camouflaged as a human. These shape-shifting beings infiltrate, manipulate, and eliminate unsuspecting victims one by one, wiping them from existence.

Set aboard a drifting spaceship, the story follows a crew in crisis, desperately trying to identify and outwit the Gnosia among them. Their strategy? Placing the most suspicious individuals into “cold sleep,” a state of suspended animation, in hopes of purging the threat. But with no foolproof way to discern friend from foe, mistakes are inevitable. Is each sacrifice a victory—or a devastating loss? Can humanity survive this high-stakes battle of deception?
