Kaiju No. 8 Season 2 Reveals July 2025 Release & Poster

Toho has announced that Kaiju No. 8 Season 2 will premiere in July 2025, along with a new poster.

In addition, a movie compilation of scenes from the first season, paired with the “Hoshina’s Day Off” special episode, will release in Japanese theaters for a three-week run starting from 28 March 2025.

Based on the manga by Naoya Matsumoto, Shigeyuki Miya and Tomomi Kamiya directed the first season of Kaiju No. 8 at studio Production I.G, with series composition by Ichiro Okouchi (Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury), character designs by Tetsuya Nishio (Naruto) and music by Yuta Bando (BELLE).

The anime television series adaptation is produced by Production I.G., the same studio behind Ghost In The Shell and Psycho-Pass. This is the perfect anime to watch for fans of kaiju and creature features such as Godzilla, Gamera, King Kong and others.

All episodes of Kaiju No. 8 Season 1 are available on Netflix Malaysia and Crunchyroll.
