Visions of Mana Director Ryosuke Yoshida Departs Ouka Studios for Square Enix

Ryosuke Yoshida, known for his work as the director of Visions of Mana, is embarking on a new chapter in his career. After leaving NetEase Games-owned Ouka Studios at the end of October, Yoshida has now joined the legendary game developer Square Enix. His announcement came with a message of gratitude and optimism for the future.

Yoshida posted on X:

“On a personal note, I quit NetEase Ouka Studios on October 31. We were a new studio, but we were able to release Visions of Mana. I am grateful to the development team and NetEase for their support. It was a very good experience. Thank you all. I am happy to announce that I joined Square Enix in December. I will do my best to make a game that many people can enjoy! Looking ahead, Yoshida expressed his excitement about his new role at Square Enix, which began in December. “I will do my best to make a game that many people can enjoy!”

 

From Past Achievements to New Beginnings

A diverse portfolio of notable contributions to the gaming industry marks Yoshida’s career. Before joining Ouka Studios, he spent time at Capcom, where his talent shone on several acclaimed projects. His early career saw him serving as an assistant planner for Lost Planet 2. He later contributed as a game designer on Monster Hunter: Generations and lent his skills to Devil May Cry 5 as a designer.
