I’m sure you won’t want to waste time sifting through Max’s extensive catalogue of shows and movies just to decide on what to watch. The streaming site updates its site every day, week, and month with new content, so I’m here to save your precious time.
Subscribe to Max at www.max.com or via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store from only RM34.90/month & RM279.90/12 months and stream on Max via your preferred device. Max is also available via Astro and Unifi TV.
Here are my personal recommendations and highlights for Max January 2025 lineup and how to fill up your free time with worthwhile content at home:
The Pitt (10 January 2025)

The Pitt, a new Max Original Series from John Wells, Executive Producer of ER and The West Wing, and starring Noah Wyle, premieres January 10 on Max.
Harley Quinn Season 5 (16 January 2025)

It looks like Harley Quinn will move to Superman’s city, Metropolis, and encounter iconic DC villains such as Brainiac and Red X.
When the Harley Quinn animated series was first announced, I was sceptical about how it was going to turn out. Imagine my pleasant surprise when it turned out to be one of the best recent animated shows. It makes full use of its R-rating, with gratuitous swearing and violence that complements all the amazing jokes and gags.
If you want more DCU continuity, check out the new Creature Commandos series, also on Max Malaysia.
Hellboy The Crooked Man (18 January 2025)

Hellboy The Crooked Man is based on a screenplay co-written by Mignola based on the Hellboy The Crooked Man comics from 2008 and it is directed by Brian Taylor (Crank, Ghost Rider Spirit Of Vengeance). Jack Kesy, who previously played Black Tom Cassidy in 2018’s Deadpool 2, plays Big Red AKA Hellboy himself.

For the first time in almost a decade, comedy icon Jack Black returns to his role as Po, the world’s most unlikely kung fu master, with a hilarious, butt-kicking new chapter in DreamWorks Animation’s beloved action-comedy franchise: Kung Fu Panda 4.
