The Top Ten Game Publishers With The Biggest Revenue In 2024
2024 is over but it was a big year for gaming. So, which game publisher came out on top with the biggest revenue in 2024?
According to the analysts at App Magic, here are the top ten publishers with the biggest revenue in 2024:
- Tencent – US$6.3 billion
- Scopely – US$2 billion
- Playrix – US$1.7 billion
- NetEase – US$1.7 billion
- Dream Games – US$1.5 billion
- King – US$1.5 billion
- Supercell – US$1.4 billion
- miHoYo – US$1.3billion
- FirstFun – US$1.2 billion
- Roblox Corporation – US$1.3 billion
Chinese mega-corporation Tencent is at the top of the charts, which is no surprise considering how many games and companies they own, including popular mobile games such as Honor Of Kings, PUBG Mobile and more.
The rest of the publishers on the list are also mostly publishers of mobile games, including Scopely (who publishes Monopoly Go).
miHoYo is probably carrying on the success of the newly-released Zenless Zone Zero, as well as their older games like Genshin Impact.
NetEase is currently at a high right now because they just released Marvel Rivals to the world.
Marvel Rivals is a free-to-play 6v6 team-based multiplayer third-person shooter that is now available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. In the meantime, check out the rest of our Marvel Rivals coverage by heading over here.
