WWE 2K Grapples Its Way Back To Mobile—But Only On Netflix
After a decade-long hiatus, WWE 2K is making a comeback on mobile. But there’s a catch—you’ll need a Netflix subscription to get in the ring.
Announced via Netflix’s official account on X (the site formerly known as Twitter, for those still keeping up), the game is set to launch on iOS and Android in Fall 2025. And since it’s part of Netflix’s ever-growing mobile library, that means no ads, no microtransactions, and no sneaky paywalls—just pure wrestling action.

This isn’t WWE’s first foray into mobile, though the past attempts weren’t exactly championship material. Back in 2010, WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2010 made its way to iOS with all the finesse of a mid-carder.
Then came WWE 2K in 2015, which was essentially a lightweight version of its console counterpart. Now, with modern phones packing more power than a prime Brock Lesnar, the big question is: will this new WWE 2K bring a proper console-like experience, or will it be another half-baked mobile spin-off?
