The Upcoming Fable Game For Xbox Is Pushed Back
Microsoft and developer Playground Games have decided to push back the much-anticipated(?) role-playing title Fable to a later year.
Both companies announced that the new Fable will be delayed in 2026, according to head of Xbox Games Studio Craig Duncan.
“We previously announced the date for Fable as 2025; we are actually going to give Fable more time and it’s going to ship in 2026 now. While I know that’s not maybe the news people want to hear, what I want to assure people of is that it’s definitely worth the wait.”
At least we get to see some pre-alpha footage of the new Fable, featuring combat and many weapons alongside spellcasting.

Doom: The Dark Ages will be out in May, while Ninja Gaiden 4 is out later in 2025. The Outer Worlds 2 and Gears of War: E-Day is reportedly coming out this year too.
