Split Fiction Breaks Sales Milestone In Just Two Days Since Launch

Who knew a story about two aspiring writers working together would topple Hazelight Studio’s previous co-op game about impending divorce?

That’s what it feels like, with the studio’s latest game Split Fiction selling over 1 million copies in all platforms in 48 hours/2 days. This is from a recent press buzz from EA, meaning that the developer has crossed a major milestone for its ambitious co-op project. By comparison, the developer’s previous title It Takes Two sold over 1 million units in a month after the game’s launch. That’s still impressive regardless.

Note that every copy of the game allows the player to share the game with someone for free, meaning that the total number of players for the game may be 2 million. For more on Split Fiction, check out our glowing review of the game.
