Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Surpassed 3.3 Million Units
It’s a good day for both Kepler Interactive and developer Sandfall Interactive.
The latter company has announced that its breakthrough role-playing game Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has surpassed 3.3 million units 33 days after release.
Thirty-three days ago, we released Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.
Since then, we’ve sold 3.3 million copies.

Even the developers have acknowledge that the stars have aligned to get this number on the 33rd day after the game’s launch. The RPG sold 500,000 just one day after its release, 1 million units within 3 days, and 2 million units in under 2 weeks. And all it took was a team lead by ex-Ubisoft developers to work on a passion project that pays tribute to its sources like Final Fantasy and Dark Souls/Sekiro, make their own vision of a JRPG, and just stuck to their guns in making it as close to their identity as possible. In this case, French and unabashedly so.
