Hordes Of Fate Is An Upcoming Deck-Building Auto Shooter With A Demo Out This Month

If you’re a fan of the Hand of Fate series, this one’s for you. Even if you’re not and like bullet heaven titles ala Vampire Survivors, you may want to give this upcoming title a shot.

We’re talking about Hordes of Fate: A Hand of Fate Adventure where you play as one of the heroes fighting off enemy hordes in the Hand of Fate series in deck-building auto-shooting form.

Draw your cards and carve your way through hordes of lethal monsters. Unlock new heroes, upgrades and encounters, and stack your hand against the Dealer’s fiendish challenge decks.

If this sounds like your cup of tea, a demo of Hordes of Fate: A Hand of Fate Adventure will be out on 15 May. The full game will be out in 2025 for PC (Steam). You can wishlist the title here. In the meantime, check out some screenshots and some demo gameplay below.

So far, we had a lot of fun with this auto-shooter bullet heaven survival game, especially with the card system that changes up the level, powerups, and bonuses you can score. There’s a narrator who comments on your progress as you’re surviving and filling up the meter to draw out the boss of the stage, though he repeats a lot of lines quite a bit. Hopefully that bit gets fixed in the final game.
