Lucky Death Stranding 2 Fans Could be Taipei-Bound

If you’ve ever wanted to thank Hideo Kojima in person for melting your brain with walking simulators, philosophical nonsense, and babies in jars… well, your moment might finally be at hand.
PlayStation is dangling a golden strand in front of Southeast Asia’s most devoted delivery boys and girls. With Death Stranding 2: On the Beach set to hit the PlayStation 5 on 26 June 2025, a new contest is giving fans in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet Hideo Kojima and his long-time artistic partner-in-weird, Yoji Shinkawa, in Taipei.
This isn’t just a handshake-and-autograph gig. It’s part of the Death Stranding World Strand Tour 2, taking place on 6 July 2025, where Kojima and Shinkawa will be talking about their vision for the sequel, probably while you try not to sob from excitement or confusion.
All you have to do is:
If chosen, you’ll win:
Yes, the whole thing’s in Mandarin. Yes, there are Terms & Conditions. And yes, someone is definitely going to show up dressed like Sam Porter Bridges. Don’t be that guy. Or do. Kojima probably respects the chaos.
In summary, pre-order the game. Fill out a form. Get flown to Taipei. Meet your indie-film-gone-wild gaming heroes. If that’s not worth the price of a preorder, what is?
