Horror Game Whisper Mountain Outbreak Gets Unleashed This August…

Need a co-op survival horror game fix with guns and zombies? And a Southeast Asian setting? Toge Productions has you covered.

Developer and publisher Toge Productions has announced the Early Access release of its upcoming horror title Whisper Mountain Outbreak: 11 August 2025 at 10pm GMT+8, slated for PC platforms (Steam).

“In Whisper Mountain Outbreak, players can play solo or team up to explore supernatural-infested locations, solve intricate puzzles, and battle terrifying creatures. Set in a remote mountainous town shrouded in mystery, every step deeper into the outbreak tests not just your wits, but also the strength of your team’s bond.

When an ancient evil force awakens from Mount Bisik, only the bravest will descend into the chaos. You play as a secret government bureau agent tasked to investigate and eradicate paranormal and otherworldly threats. Choose your specialization and work with other agents to uncover the mystery, survive the horrors, and destroy the evil lurking beneath the shroud.

Whether you choose to stick together or risk splitting up,  you must balance puzzle-solving, resource management, and combat against increasingly nightmarish threats.”

We played the co-op game a while back, and it shows a lot of promise in being an online horror experience that’s best with friends. Right now, you can play a demo of the game via its Steam page.
